Gel will not Level in the gel pot
If the gel is too cold it won't level. To achieve the correct
consistency, allow the gel to either sit and reach room temperature,
or if need be, place the gel pot with lid on in shallow warm water
until it thins a little.

Gel is Too Runny
If the gel is too warm it will be too runny to work with easily.
Make sure the gel is at room temperature. You should never leave you
gel products where sunlight and heat can reach them. It is best to
store them in a cool dark place.

Warm Sensation while Curing Nails
IBD Gels do not seem to heat up while being cured quite as readily
as some other brands of Gel. Occasionally however, particlarly if you
have sensitive nails or the natural nail has been over filed and is
very thin, you may feel a warm sensation. If you feel any discomfort
press your fingers down on the base while under the lamp. This slight
pressure seems to relieve the sensation. If it is still a problem,
pre-cure your nails by placing them at the front of the lamp (not
actually under it) for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then finish off your
full cure time under the lamp.

Skin Irritation
If you have sensitive skin, avoid applying Cleanser Plus to your
cuticle area. Also avoid contact with your skin when wiping your
nails with Cleanser Plus. As with all gel applications, avoid gel
running onto the skin and confine your application to the nail plate
only.

Gel not Hardening
If your UV lamp bulbs are old or dirty it may prevent proper
curing. IBD recommend that you regularly clean the UV lamp bulbs and
the lamp with Cleanser Plus, and that you replace the bulbs after
3,000 hours of use, or every 9 to 12 months. They also suggest that
if you are using a non-IBD lamp you must double the cure time for
each product.
You may also find that with the Ultra White Builder Gel, as it is
an opaque product, it could need an additional 1 to 2 minutes of cure
time. Furthermore, if you are working with Nail Forms and Ultra White
Builder Gel, don't forget that after you have removed the nail form
you need to cure the underside of your nails for 1 to 2 minutes.

Gel shrinking back from Nail Edge
Make sure that you don't take too long before curing the nails
after applying the gel. As it is a self leveling product, gel is
designed to shrink back on itself. You should not wait until the
whole hand has gel applied before placing it under a light to cure.
Place your hand under the lamp after applying gel to only 1 to 3
nails at a time, depending on how quickly you work. The same rule
tends to be relevent when you apply Ultra Seal.
